I wanted to reach out to let you know that Tigger is still doing fantastic and had a very happy Christmas. We have developed many nicknames for him, and he now primarily goes by Tiggies and Tigothy. Santa Paws spoiled him with a full stocking of toys and treats and a special bandana. Since bringing him home Tiggies has built up muscle mass on his hind legs which seems to have helped his mobility. He enjoys his special kidney diet (especially the wet food) to help his very early stage kidney disease. He plays everyday and has a special connection with his felt acorn and rainbow wand toy. We have also discovered Tigger is quite a foodie! I was hesitant at letting him try ‘human foods’ as I feared it would hurt his stomach, but there has been no ill effect whatsoever, and I figured he’s just an old man who deserves it! He loves chicken, beef, egg, and would trade me for a bite of a chip I think (All given in very sparingly portions of course). He even got to dress up for Halloween as a Pixar Lamp for a whole week while an ear infection healed. He keeps my boyfriend and I company when we work from home and often provides professional assistance by sitting on the keyboards and always sits in on meetings to provide his expert opinions, our coworkers greatly appreciate his insight. Tigger is the most lovely old man who has brought so much joy to everyone who has met him, he’s gentle, playful and the best lap cat who adores being with his humans. We’re not sure what his previous Christmas's were like but I know the rest of his will be filled with so much love, warmth and full bellies. We are wishing all the animals in your care a wonderful holiday, and hope next Christmas they have their forever families too.
Love,
Tigger and Aislinn
