Shelter Day – Sunday, June 5th 2016

The Kingston Humane Society invites the community to their annual Open House to learn more about their work and support to care for injured, sick, homeless and abused animals. The day includes tours of the shelter, a clinic to microchip pets (by appointment only), as well as an adoption event for cats and kittens.

Our adult altered cats are $95, and altered kittens will be available for $135. All animals adopted from the Kingston Humane Society have been health-checked, de-wormed, microchipped and come with 6 months of free pet insurance. The special cat adoption pricing starts on June 4th and will continue for the entire month of June. Dogs are available for adoption at regular prices.

The shelter has a number of cats/kittens on site available for adoption, as well as in their adoption centres located at Pet Valu at Kingston Centre and Gardiners Centre , PetSmart, Global Pet Foods, Birds ‘n Paws located at Brock Street and Gore Road.

Pet owners wishing to provide their pets with permanent identification by having them microchipped can call the shelter at 546-1291 to book an appointment. Payment is required at time of booking the appointment. All appointments are non-refundable.

There will also be shelter tours for the public every half hour.

There will be a vendor area in our front parking lot.
