We are currently taking photo submissions for the Kingston Humane Society’s 2018 Our Best Friends calendar. Your $40 submission fee guarantees your pets photo in the calendar (criteria must be met) and includes one calendar. All funds raised from submissions and calendar sales go to assist the neglected, homeless, and abused animals in our community!

Pet First Aid Clinic – Ongwanada Auditorium

Keep your pet safe, no matter the situation! The Kingston Humane Society, in conjunction with Princess Animal Hospital & Downtown Animal Hospital, is proud to offer a course on pet first aid on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Ongwanada Auditorium (191 Portsmouth Avenue). This seminar is a practical overview of initial treatments for the most commonly encountered injuries/emergencies for all pets – with a heavy focus on canine emergencies. Ages 12+ are welcome to attend.

Christmas Trees At The Kingston Humane Society

HO HO HO! Freshly delivered to KHS are beautiful Nova Scotia Balsam Fir Christmas trees!

All trees $40 regardless of size and $10 from each tree sold goes to supporting the homeless animals who temporarily live at the Kingston Humane Society. These gorgeous trees are hand sheared (meaning they are trimmed as they grow to ensure they are even on all sides) and range from 6 to 8½ feet tall. They are fresh, lush and fragrant.
